LLM Data Engineer

Role Overview

As an LLM Data Engineer at Ennabl, you will play a pivotal role in transforming vast volumes of unstructured and semi-structured insurance data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and client services to integrate large language models (LLMs) into robust ETL pipelines. This position demands deep expertise in prompt engineering, data modeling, and quality assurance to accelerate data-driven decision-making for brokers and agents in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze, interpret, and document unstructured insurance text such as policies, submissions, emails, and forms.
* Design and implement ETL workflows that leverage LLMs to extract and transform key information from large textual datasets.
* Build data models and enforce data quality best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate LLM-based data pipelines into existing platforms and services.
* Troubleshoot data issues—identify root causes of ambiguity or missing information and propose scalable solutions.
* Communicate findings, assumptions, and limitations clearly to both technical stakeholders and business users.
