Role Description

The International Cryptocurrency Fund is seeking a dedicated Lawyer with a strong background in fintech and crypto law to join our legal team in Dubai. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive global legal strategy that meets the requirements of international regulators, including AML, KYC/KYB, MICA and VARA. You will support the registration of entities, opening of bank accounts across jurisdictions, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and beyond. This role demands a self-starter who can build processes from scratch, make informed decisions and provide strategic legal advice to founders and the C-level suite.

Key responsibilities:
* Craft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and internal regulations to safeguard the fund’s interests;
* Oversee company formation and licensing procedures in multiple jurisdictions, liaising with local authorities and banks;
* Design and execute AML/KYC/KYB policies, conduct risk assessments and manage due diligence processes;
* Monitor global regulatory developments, interpret new laws and adapt internal policies accordingly;
* Provide legal counsel on token issuance, secondary market activities and investment structures;
* Collaborate with business, compliance and finance teams to align legal risk management with strategic objectives.
