Sr Data Scientist

Role Description

As a Senior Data Scientist at AXS, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models that power our ticketing platform for live sports and entertainment events. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, and analytics—to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include designing predictive models, performing deep statistical analyses, and driving end-to-end data science initiatives that enhance pricing strategies, personalized recommendations, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the full ML lifecycle: from data collection and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
* Develop and optimize algorithms for dynamic ticket pricing, demand forecasting, and churn prediction using Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
* Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS are scalable, reliable, and secure.
* Conduct exploratory data analysis and A/B testing to validate model performance and support business decision-making.
* Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within the team.
