QA Automation Engineer (CCaaS)
Role Description
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer on our AI-driven Cloud Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive end-to-end tests for both UI and API layers. You will collaborate closely with product managers and developers to translate acceptance criteria into robust automated tests, while analyzing quality priorities and the underlying system architecture. In this role, you will also shape our test strategy by balancing coverage across the test pyramid and optimizing for speed, reliability, and maintainability.
Your key responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end test suites for web UI and RESTful APIs that integrate with multiple subsystems
• Analyze acceptance criteria and system design to identify critical test scenarios and define quality objectives
• Implement test cases using Java, Kotlin, Groovy, or Scala with industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, REST-assured)
• Collaborate with developers to understand application internals and create test hooks for faster feedback loops
• Ensure proper distribution of tests across unit, integration, and UI layers to maintain a healthy test pyramid
• Monitor test results and work with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve defects
• Continuously improve test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and reporting tools to accelerate release cycles
