Payments Officer

Role Description

We are looking for a Payments Officer to join a fast-paced trading operations team in Limassol, Cyprus. You will be responsible for executing multi-channel payments, both fiat and cryptocurrency, ensuring each transaction is handled with precision, compliance, and efficiency. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our trading infrastructure and requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of payments operations, AML/KYC standards, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process Payments: Execute fiat and crypto transfers across various platforms and banking rails, such as SWIFT, SEPA, and blockchain networks, with zero errors.
* Reconciliation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive transaction records, reconcile discrepancies, and generate detailed reports for internal and regulatory purposes.
* Troubleshooting & Improvements: Identify and resolve payment-related issues proactively, driving process enhancements to improve throughput and reduce settlement times.
* Compliance Support: Uphold anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) policies, assist in due diligence, and coordinate with compliance and legal teams to mitigate financial risks.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with traders, finance, and IT teams, providing operational support in a high-performance, technology-driven environment.
