Head of ML

Role Description

On the Head of ML position, you will lead and develop the Machine Learning and Data Science department from 2 to 10–20 specialists, aligning closely with AI Engineering, infrastructure and analytics teams. Your mission is to shape ML strategy, set technical standards and deliver high-impact AI-driven solutions that connect applications, automate workflows and boost productivity across industries. You will act as key liaison between US, Asia and Europe teams, ensuring seamless integration of ML solutions into the enterprise platform.

Key responsibilities:
• Define the vision and roadmap for the ML/DS department; recruit, mentor and scale the team; establish best practices for MLOps and model governance.
• Collaborate in a matrix structure with AI engineering, data infrastructure and analytics to deliver end-to-end products.
• Oversee core AI projects: Metadata Extraction & Semantic Lake development using LLMs; architecture of business/supply chain graphs with GNNs, time series forecasting for metrics prediction; integration of multiple model providers (Azure + OpenAI, Amazon + Anthropic, Gemini, Cerebras, on-premise deployments).
• Optimize and fine-tune large language models, implement cutting-edge deep learning pipelines and ensure high performance, scalability and reliability of ML services.
• Drive research and prototyping of novel algorithms to solve complex enterprise challenges; present results to stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams to production.
