Engineering Manager (relocation to Georgia)

Role Description

As an Engineering Manager at our international fintech company, you will take full ownership of building and leading high-performing engineering teams in Georgia. Your primary responsibilities include hiring top talent, coaching and mentoring engineers, and fostering a culture of autonomy and high accountability. You will design, implement, and continuously improve software development and testing processes to ensure delivery quality and speed. Collaborating closely with product owners, QA specialists, and other stakeholders, you will drive research and development for innovative financial products, oversee project budgets, and manage all phases of the product lifecycle. You will analyze existing tech stacks—Python, Vue.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Redis—and propose improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Participation in brainstorming sessions, data analytics, and testing activities will be an integral part of your role, ensuring that new features meet both business goals and user expectations.
