Tech Lead (Solana Trading Bots)
Role Description
The Tech Lead (Solana Trading Bots) will architect, develop and maintain high-performance automated trading and market-making systems on the Solana blockchain. You will lead a small specialized team, define the architecture for scalable Solana infrastructure, and implement advanced strategies including MEV extraction, arbitrage and clustering. Core responsibilities include:
— Building and optimizing bots with @solana/web3.js, Anchor and @jito-foundation/sdk, integrating Jupiter API.
— Ensuring robust fee management under varying network conditions, leveraging knowledge of QUIC/TPU, slots and rate limits.
— Conducting code reviews, performance profiling and security audits to meet enterprise-grade standards.
— Recruiting, interviewing and mentoring developers to strengthen the team’s Solana expertise.
— Monitoring on-chain activity, adapting systems to protocol updates and community-driven changes.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of backend development experience in Node.js, with proven expertise in Solana internals.
• Hands-on experience integrating AMM protocols such as Raydium, Orca, Meteora and Pump.fun.
• Active participation in Discord and GitHub communities related to Jito, Helius or similar projects.
• Basic Rust skills are desirable with a willingness to advance proficiency.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving and communication abilities.
