Team Lead (Golang, FinTech, Europe)

Role Description

As a Team Lead for Golang development in our FinTech startup, you will take full ownership of the backend engineering team. Your primary responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring talented engineers, planning and decomposing tasks, and optimizing internal processes to ensure efficient delivery. You will manage day-to-day execution, align project roadmaps with strategic business goals, and introduce best practices for code quality and performance. Leading complex technical challenges, you will conduct rigorous code reviews, design reliable microservices, and maintain high standards for scalability and maintainability. In addition, you will participate in architectural and system design decisions for the backend platform, ensuring robust and fault-tolerant implementations using Golang. As the first engineering lead in a new region, you’ll lay the technical foundation for expansion into Europe and beyond, applying lessons learned from LATAM to build a resilient, enterprise-grade digital banking solution.
