The Tax Specialist (UAE) will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with UAE tax legislation and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements, playing a key role in the company’s Tax / IFRS / Advisory department. This position suits a proactive professional who can manage multiple tax processes, support internal teams and external clients, and deliver clear written consultations on complex UAE tax issues.

Your main tasks include:
• Performing VAT and corporate tax registration procedures for both new and established entities using FTA portals and other official channels in compliance with UAE tax legislation.
• Preparing, reviewing and submitting accurate VAT and corporate tax returns, ensuring all filings meet FTA deadlines and regulatory standards.
• Drafting structured tax advisory memos and consultation letters on a variety of corporate and indirect tax matters, applying up-to-date knowledge of UAE tax legislation.
• Acting as a liaison with FTA representatives to resolve inquiries, obtain clarifications and address compliance-related issues promptly.
• Assisting cross-functional teams and clients with implementation of best practices for tax planning, risk mitigation and internal control enhancements.
• Maintaining reliable bookkeeping records and supporting documentation for all tax filings to facilitate audits and internal reviews.
• Continuously monitoring changes in UAE tax legislation, corporate tax frameworks and VAT regulations to update internal guidelines and train colleagues as needed.
