Senior Software Engineer (Poker Analytics)

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines deep software development expertise with professional poker experience to design, build and maintain a desktop application for collecting and analyzing online poker statistics. In this role, you will lead the implementation of core functionality in C# .NET, applying a functional programming style and using Blazor for a modern UI. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of poker players worldwide, providing them with reliable, insightful analytics.

Key responsibilities:
* Architect and develop advanced analytics modules: hand history parsing, statistical reporting, graphing and heat maps.
* Integrate with major poker rooms and data sources via APIs and custom protocols, ensuring secure and stable connections.
* Build plugin support for Hand2Note, Holdem Manager and PokerTracker file formats.
* Implement data storage, query optimization and caching for high-speed analysis of large hand histories.
* Collaborate with product designers, QA engineers and professional players to refine features and UX.
* Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
