Senior / Lead ML Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior / Lead ML Engineer to join our in-house team in Europe. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and AI-driven solutions to support key business initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into scalable and maintainable architecture. Your daily responsibilities will include building pipelines for large language models (LLMs), developing AI agents for automation, implementing image recognition systems, and integrating MLOps practices to ensure smooth deployment and continuous improvement of models.

Key responsibilities:
• Design and implement end-to-end AI architectures, from data preprocessing to model training, validation, and deployment.
• Develop and fine-tune LLM-based solutions for NLP tasks, chatbots, and semantic search applications.
• Build AI agents to automate workflows, using reinforcement learning and rule-based systems.
• Implement image recognition pipelines leveraging deep learning frameworks for object detection, classification, and segmentation.
• Establish MLOps best practices: CI/CD for ML, containerization, monitoring, and automated retraining.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape solution design, including pre-sales support and technical proposals.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions to drive architectural decisions.
