Senior Golang Developer

Role Overview

As a Senior Golang Developer at our global FinTech company, you will drive the design, development, and maintenance of critical backend services supporting data warehousing, big data analytics, and cloud computing platforms. You will translate requirements provided by Product Managers and Architects into high-quality, testable, and maintainable Go code. In this role, you will:
* Develop and optimize microservices in Go, ensuring efficient concurrency, synchronization, and resource usage.
* Build robust APIs and data pipelines for real-time transaction processing and analytics workloads.
* Participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines—creating automated deployment scripts with Terraform, Ansible, Azure Pipelines, or CloudFormation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams—DevOps, QA, Data Engineering—to integrate services, troubleshoot production incidents, and resolve defects through root-cause analysis.
* Document system architecture, code workflows, and operational runbooks to guarantee smooth handoffs and transparent knowledge sharing across the organization.
* Mentor junior engineers, performing code reviews and sharing best practices for Go idioms, SOLID principles, design patterns, and testing strategies.
