Buffer seeks a Senior Engineer — Growth Marketing to drive user acquisition and revenue growth across multiple channels. You will work on our innovative SaaS platform that helps small businesses build their brands on social media. As a Growth Marketing Engineer, you will design, develop and optimize data-driven marketing experiments, implement tracking solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale campaigns.

• Designing and executing A/B tests and multivariate experiments to improve conversion funnels and activation metrics.
• Developing and maintaining analytics pipelines using SQL, Python and BigQuery to generate actionable insights.
• Building and integrating custom growth tools, microservices and automation scripts to support email, SMS and push notification campaigns.
• Collaborating with marketing managers, product and engineering teams to align experiments with business goals.
• Implementing tracking solutions for user behavior, attribution and event collection across web and mobile platforms.
• Optimizing cost per acquisition (CPA) by analyzing channel performance, adjusting budgets, and identifying new growth opportunities.

Требования

• 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, data analysis or backend engineering roles.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with proven track record of data analysis and experimentation.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks (Optimizely, Google Optimize) and statistical hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Mailchimp, Braze, Customer.io) and CRM systems.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, REST APIs) and event tracking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team.
