In this role, you will define infrastructure standards, implement security policies, and drive process improvements to support the company’s business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to forecast capacity needs, prioritize projects, and deliver high-availability services that underpin critical operations.
Your main responsibilities:
— Lead, mentor, and develop a team of system administrators and technical support specialists, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring timely delivery of tasks and projects;
— Design, install, configure, and maintain server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux distributions, macOS), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability;
— Manage Active Directory services, including Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authority (CA), and DFS Namespaces to maintain a secure and organized environment;
— Administer enterprise collaboration tools—Jira and Confluence—by configuring project structures, workflows, permissions, dashboards, and automation to increase team efficiency;
— Implement and monitor network services (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, routing) to guarantee secure connectivity between offices and remote locations, and minimize downtime through proactive monitoring and backups;
— Develop, document, and enforce security policies, manage user access and permissions with strict adherence to best practices, and lead incident response and disaster recovery planning;
— Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate new technologies, negotiate contracts, and procure equipment and software licenses in line with budget planning;
— Provide end-user support, training sessions, and technical consultations to empower employees and enhance IT awareness;
— Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, runbooks, and guidelines to ensure knowledge continuity and operational transparency.
