Description of role

As the Head of ML, you will lead the Machine Learning and Data Science department, driving strategic AI initiatives across a leading enterprise integration and automation platform. In this pivotal role, you will manage a team that is growing from 2 to 10–20 specialists, collaborating closely with AI Engineering, Infrastructure, and Analytics stakeholders. You will oversee projects that leverage state-of-the-art Machine Learning approaches, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering impactful AI-driven solutions.

Your key responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and expand the ML/DS team; establish best practices in model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Define technical strategy for Metadata Extraction & Semantic Lake, utilizing LLMs, fine-tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Architect and implement Business Metrics Prediction solutions: design and train models on supply chain graphs, apply Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), ML/DL frameworks, and time-series analysis.
• Orchestrate Multi-Provider Model Work: integrate Azure+OpenAI, Amazon+Anthropic, Gemini, Cerebras, and self-hosted inference platforms for production-grade performance.
• Operate within a matrix organization, coordinating across US, Asia, and Europe teams to ensure seamless delivery of ML capabilities.
• Monitor model performance in production, drive continuous improvement, automations, and defect management.
