Frontend Application Engineer

Description of the Role

As a Frontend Application Engineer at Nascent, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our next-generation trading platform. In this position, you will design and implement elegant, high-performance interfaces using React, collaborate closely with backend engineers and UX designers, and take full ownership of multiple components from conception through delivery and maintenance. Your day-to-day tasks include:
• Architecting reusable UI components and complex layouts in React, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices;
• Writing clean, modular code in JavaScript/TypeScript with a focus on performance optimization, code quality, and maintainability;
• Conducting thorough code reviews, writing unit and integration tests, and participating in user acceptance testing to guarantee resilience and stability;
• Rapidly prototyping new features, leveraging LLM tools to accelerate development workflows, improve code generation, and enhance developer productivity;
• Collaborating in a lean, agile team environment, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement;
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex UI bugs in real time to support high-frequency trading scenarios.
