Founding Engineer (iOS)

Description of the role

As a Founding Engineer (iOS), you will take full ownership of the mobile client for an innovative social app aimed at authentic self-expression. You will drive growth through technically sound solutions, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and shape the technical direction of the entire iOS codebase. Your key responsibilities:
• Lead the full product development cycle on iOS – from feature proposal and design to implementation and release
• Architect and implement a scalable, modular mobile application framework to support rapid feature growth
• Optimize app performance and ensure a seamless user experience on real devices
• Research, prototype, and integrate innovative solutions to complex problems in a social media context
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and maintain a robust client-server architecture
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality, test coverage, and documentation
