Engineering Manager (FinTech)

Description of the role

As an Engineering Manager in our international FinTech company, you will take ownership of building and leading high-performing engineering teams of 10–15 professionals. You will define clear goals, mentor engineers, establish a culture of self­organization and continuous improvement, and ensure that every team member grows in technical mastery and collaboration skills. Your daily duties will include designing robust software development and testing processes, setting quality standards, and monitoring key metrics related to code quality, deployment frequency and system stability. You will oversee R&D initiatives to explore new architectures and product ideas, draft and manage project budgets, and drive all stages from proof of concept to scalable production releases. A major part of your role will be to analyze existing practices—tools, workflows and operational methods—identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and launch targeted improvements to maximize sustainability and performance.
