Backend Developer

Job Description

Join Playtronix as a Backend Developer where you will be an integral member of a talented engineering team focused on building next-generation software solutions for high-traffic online casino platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers and QA specialists to design, implement and maintain backend services that power secure, low-latency gaming experiences.

Your primary responsibilities include:
* Designing and developing robust, scalable microservices using Java, Node.js or C++ as core languages, with a path to Golang migration through our structured onboarding program.
* Building and maintaining event-driven architectures with Kafka, ensuring high throughput and minimal latency across distributed systems.
* Architecting RESTful APIs and message brokers to connect microservices and support real-time game data processing.
* Optimizing database schemas, queries and indexing strategies in PostgreSQL and NoSQL stores like MongoDB or DynamoDB to achieve efficient concurrency control and partitioning.
* Implementing best practices for code quality, automated testing, continuous integration and container deployment.
* Actively participating in design reviews, sprint planning sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops to drive continuous improvement.
