3D Animator / Generalist

Role Overview

At SVDL E BUSINESS we are seeking a talented 3D Animator / Generalist to produce high-quality short-form 3D content for Wholesomenia, a growing YouTube channel focused on delivering compassionate, documentary-style shorts with cinematic flair. You will join a team that has produced channels exceeding hundreds of millions of views and is now targeting 3 billion views per month in year one. In this role, you will lead the full 3D production pipeline, ensuring consistency with our signature clean, cinematic aesthetic.

Typically, you will deliver 5–8 completed shots per week, collaborating with the editorial team to meet strict publishing schedules on a weekly cadence. You will have access to our proprietary asset library and benefit from mentorship by our senior CG supervisors, ensuring continuous skill development.

Responsibilities

* Develop, model, texture and shade 3D assets for short videos (18–35 seconds each).
* Set up and adjust lighting rigs to achieve a clean, cinematic look in every scene.
* Animate characters, objects and camera movements to convey narrative and emotion.
* Optimize scene setups and rendering parameters for rapid turnaround on YouTube Shorts.
* Collaborate with editors and sound designers to integrate audio, effects and color grading.
* Iterate on feedback to refine scenes, ensuring alignment with Zack D Films–style visuals.
* Maintain organized project files and adhere to pipeline best practices in Blender, Maya or Cinema 4D, experimenting with GPU rendering and viewport previews to accelerate iterations.
