Web3 Execution Engineer

Role Overview

You will join Warlock Labs in collaboration with Monkey Tilt as a Web3 Execution Engineer tasked with designing and implementing a high-performance trading infrastructure targeting the Solana ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing low-latency execution systems, a professional-grade Telegram trading bot, and a web-based trading terminal aimed at delivering sub-millisecond response times to sophisticated traders. You will work alongside experienced engineers from leading tech and trading firms in an asynchronous, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop ultra-low-latency trading systems tailored for Solana’s high-throughput capabilities, including order matching, risk controls, and market data ingestion.
• Build and maintain a production-grade Telegram trading bot that seamlessly integrates with order execution services, providing traders with real-time positions, P&L, and market data.
• Create and enhance a web-based trading terminal featuring advanced charting, order types, and connectivity to multiple Solana-based liquidity venues.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and telemetry systems to ensure the reliability and performance of trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance benchmarks, conduct load testing, and implement continuous performance improvements.
• Contribute to DevOps practices by automating deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code configurations.

Application Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building low-latency or high-performance systems using Rust or TypeScript.
• In-depth understanding of Solana blockchain architecture, transaction lifecycles, and on-chain order routing.
• Proven expertise with WebSocket APIs, real-time data streaming, and concurrency patterns.
• Solid background in distributed systems design, network protocols, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrable track record of tuning systems for minimal latency, high throughput, and fault tolerance.
Bonus points for prior work on Telegram trading bots, contributions to Solana ecosystem projects, or familiarity with Linear for project management.
