Senior Golang Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join a global FinTech team and take ownership of critical backend services. In this position, you will validate requirements from Product Managers and Architects and translate them into high-quality Go code. You will design and implement scalable services around data warehousing, big data processing, and cloud computing. Day-to-day tasks include programming in Go, optimizing performance, profiling and debugging code, and participating in DevOps practices such as CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

Your core responsibilities will include:
• Validate business and system requirements and transform them into robust Go implementations.
• Develop and maintain services for data warehousing and big-data pipelines using idiomatic Go and concurrency primitives.
• Collaborate on deployment automation and configuration management with tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Azure Pipelines.
• Work with message brokers (e.g., Kafka), external caching servers (e.g., Redis) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Implement Protobuf and gRPC for inter-service communication in a microservices architecture.
• Profile, debug, and troubleshoot production issues through root cause analysis and system investigation.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to architectural decisions.
