Senior Full Stack Developer

Project Description

We’re a high-performing, AWS-based, agile SaaS web application team that builds web and mobile applications for commercial service contractors.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency features and improvements
• Resolving application and component problems, as well as fixing bugs during the development life cycle, or as part of maintenance
• Ensuring all designs and coding comply with documented UI requirements, user stories, security best practices, and performance guidelines

Requirements

• Significant experience with a major backend language (PHP is preferred, but Java could be an alternate)
• Significant experience with a major front end framework (React is preferred)
• Experience building and supporting APIs
• Experience building Single Page Applications using React
• Comfort with JavaScript and CSS
• Experience writing unit tests
• Experience using traditional databases (MySQL is preferred, but others are ok)
• Comfortable with Git (and processes like pull requests, merging, versioning)

Nice to have

• Ember experience
• Experience with other AWS services (ie Lambda)
• No-sql DBs (ie Mongo)
• Scripting experience (ie bash)
• DevOps Experience: (Jenkins, AWS)
• Build/CI Tools: git, grunt, GitHub, etc
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack
