Project Manager, Operations
Role Description
The Project Manager, Operations at NEAR Foundation is a key driver of strategic initiatives at the intersection of blockchain, crypto, and AI-driven execution. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will partner with cross-functional teams—engineering, marketing, community, and finance—to translate high-level strategic goals into detailed operational plans. In this full-time role, you will ensure timely delivery, manage dependencies, and continuously improve processes through data-driven insights and automation.
Your core responsibilities will include:
• Leading end-to-end project management for ecosystem-wide programs, from scoping and planning to execution and post-mortem analysis
• Defining KPIs, tracking performance metrics, and developing dashboards to surface actionable insights for stakeholders
• Implementing AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows (“vibe coding” and scripting)
• Coordinating cross-functional workstreams, identifying risks, resolving blockers, and maintaining clear communication across teams and levels
• Drafting weekly and monthly operational reports, summaries, and executive briefings for the Chief of Staff and Foundation leadership
• Managing external partners, vendors, and consultants, ensuring alignment with NEAR’s ECOSYSTEM-FIRST and OPENNESS values
• Continuously refining processes, documentation, and playbooks to embed PRAGMATISM OVER PERFECTION and MAKE IT FEEL SIMPLE principles
