Data Engineer

Role Description

DV Labs is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our remote-first team and drive the development of scalable, high-performance data pipelines for Ethereum Beacon-chain analytics. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will ingest, model, and manage multi-TB datasets—blocks, attestations, sync-committee aggregates, deposits, and slashings—into ClickHouse and MongoDB. Leveraging Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala) and containerized CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions, you will architect ETL/ELT processes that deliver sub-second analytical queries, optimize storage footprint, and surface validator health and protocol-level anomalies in real time.

This role is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or backend systems, a deep understanding of the Ethereum consensus layer, and proficiency in Python or Scala. You will collaborate closely with Protocol and DevOps teams, champion data quality, lineage, testing, and documentation, and contribute to open-source tooling around consensus-layer data and distributed-validator monitoring.
